This traditional one cup coffee maker is hand crafted by the Pitre family in the town of Ciales, Puerto Rico. This beautiful piece of are is made of natural wood harvested in a sustainable way from shaded coffee plantations in the mountains of Puerto Rico. Each of these coffee makers is unique. This particular one (redish color) is made of a tree named "Guaraguao" a very common shading tree in Puerto Rican coffee plantations.

Each coffee maker comes with the traditional "media de colar" (cloth coffee filter), a hand crafted cup (~3 oz) and half pound of our custom-roasted Hacienda Ana Luisa Shade Grown Coffee. The coffee maker features the word "Cafe" (coffee) on each side.
